Mrs. Anna Applegate, age 52 of Griffin, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Tanner Hospice Care in Carrollton, Georgia.

Mrs. Applegate was born in Dawson, Georgia on January 18, 1962. She is preceded in death by her mother, Sara Campbell Glass; husband, Monte Applegate.

Survivors include her daughter, Brittany Massey and husband, Cody; grandchildren, Laci and Cameren; father, John Glass; sisters, Kathy Butts and husband, Rick of Travelers Rest, SC, Lisa Turner and Vick Davis of Williamsport, MD; brother, Jerry Davis of Dublin, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orval and Inez Brittain of Griffin; brother-in-law, Scott Applegate of Knoxville, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Denise and Mike Kimbell of Griffin; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Anna Applegate will be on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 4:00pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral home. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
