Mr. Arthur (Arty) Greer, Jr., age 50, of Milner, Georgia passed away on June 6, 2012 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.  


Mr. Greer was born in Spalding County, Georgia on October 22, 1961. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur W. Greer, grandparents, Reverend John D and Madeline Madaris, Arthur C. and Annie Greer. Mr. Greer was a 1980 graduate of Griffin High School and attended the West Sunny Side Community Church.

Survivors include, his wife, Lisa Greer; children, Joey Goodson, Ben Greer and his wife, Amanda, Jessica Vladimiroff and her husband Jon, Daniel Smith, Garon Stencel; grandchildren, Taylor Goodson, Ben Greer and Teagan Vladimiroff; mother and step father, Vera and B. J. Bennett, Jr.; brothers Michael Greer and Rodney Greer; step siblings, Tim Bennett, Luanne Crosby, Tony Bennett; mother-in-law, Charlotte Solomon; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Arty Greer will be on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 3pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Hugh Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in the West Sunny Side Community Church.
