Callum Nicholas Reid, age 22, of Griffin passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from injuries he received in an automobile accident.

Callum was born December 5, 1991 in Cheshire, England. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John “Grandpa” Henson, Tom and Elizabeth Reid. Callum was a graduate of Spalding High School class of 2010 and attended Georgia State University where he was Grand Master of Ceremonies in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He also worked with his father at C&R Fleet Service and was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church. Callum was a loving son, brother and friend. He never meet a stranger and touched so many people during his short life.

Survivors include parents, Tony and Yvonne Reid of Griffin, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Anneka and Andrew Swann of London, England; grandmother, Marjorie Henson of Libertyville, IL; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins around the world.

A celebration of life for Callum Nicholas Reid will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1:00pm at St. George Episcopal Church, 132 N. 10th Street, Griffin. The Reverend Nancy Shepherd will officiate. Family will receive friends following the service in the church parlor and also on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm at the Bank Street Café, 126 N. Hill Street, Griffin. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donation be made to United Bank, Griffin, Ga for a scholarship fund they have set up in memory of Callum.
