Mr. George Francis Nealis, Jr., age 76 of Williamson, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Nealis was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 27, 1938. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Francis Nealis, Sr. and Roselle Michaels Nealis; brother, Bill Nealis. Mr. Nealis was a veteran of the United States Marines, formerly worked for Northern Electric Company. He was a successful salesman, businessman, and an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Gardner Nealis; children, George Francis Nealis III and significant other, Emily Holt, John Parker Gardner Nealis and wife, Jessica Nealis; grandchildren, Rilee Krew Nealis and J. P. Nealis; sister, Patricia Regas; brothers, Michael Nealis and Dennis Nealis.

Visitation for Mr. George Francis Nealis, Jr. will be on Sunday, July 27, 2014 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel.  A celebration will follow at 3:30pm at the Club at Shoal Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 301 Kelly Dr., Suite 3, Peachtree City, GA 30269 or to Stepping Stones, 141 Futral Rd., Griffin, GA 30224 in memory of Mr. Nealis. The Griffin Chapter of Marine Corp League will render military honors.
