Mr. James “Clayton” Harbuck, age 77 of Gay, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Clayton Harbuck was born April 25, 1937 in Marion County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his, parents, George “Bo” Felton Harbuck and Annie Julia Wells Harbuck; sisters, Valeria Harbuck Fender and Judy H. Bell. Mr. Harbuck attended Massey Business College. He retired from Monumental Life Insurance Company and was a member of Eufaula Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife, Dixie Mathews Harbuck; children, Shawn Cain and wife Serena, Shannon Montgomery and husband Scott and Pat Cain and wife, Martina. Mr. Harbuck has 6 grandchildren and 3 sisters, Annette Woods and husband Zeke, Mary Ray and husband Bill and Diane Goodroe and husband George, brothers-in-law, Denny Fender and William Bell; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Clayton Harbuck will be on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Burial will be at Crouch Cemetery in Gay, GA.
