Mr. Jimmy C. Bolt, age 79 of Henry County, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Piedmont Henry Hospital.

Mr. Bolt was born in South Carolina on March 4, 1935. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Bolt and Ina Marie Simpson Bolt; sister, Carol House.  Mr. Bolt retired from the Fulton County Sheriff’s office as a lieutenant after 33 years of service.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Bolt; children, Nancy Quattlebaum of Clearwater, FL, Susan Brown and husband, Ken of Marietta, GA, Brandie Snipes and husband, Dillon of Aiken, SC, Mike Bell and wife, Michelle of Thomaston, GA, Greg Bell and wife, Cat of Locust Grove, GA; 12 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Knight and brother-in-law, Greg Knight; best friend, Paul Ivy.

Visitation for Mr. Bolt will be Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6pm until 8pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 15, 2014 in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home at 2pm.  
Interment will follow in the Sherwood Memorial Park & Mausoleum.
