Alexander Roth McDavid, age 25, of Milton, Georgia passed away on November 15, 2017. Alexander was born on November 2, 1992 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Milton High School and Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia. Alexander loved all sports, including baseball, basketball, hockey, snow skiing and playing chess and his guitar. Whether it be playing basketball with all of his cousins in Griffin, camping and fly fishing with his uncle John in the mountains, fishing and hanging out with his cousin Bryn, snow skiing and deep sea fishing with his dad, he loved it all. He also loved spending time with family, especially at holidays. Alexander is preceded in death by grandparents, John Bell, Sr. and Janie Hammond Wallace of Griffin, Ralph H. McDavid of Kingsport, Tennessee.

He is survived by his parents, Roger K. and Elizabeth (Beth) Wallace McDavid of Milton, Georgia; brother, Ryan McDavid of Atlanta, Georgia; grandmother, Margaret McDavid of Kingsport, Tennessee; aunts and uncles, John, and Heidi Wallace, Jack and Shirley Hammond, Dorton and Carole Wallace Smith, Randy and Sheila Wallace Goen, all of Griffin; Steven McDavid, Wayne and Gail Price of Kingsport, Tennessee; many beloved cousins.

A visitation for Alexander McDavid will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
