Mr. B.W. “Butch” McElwaney, age 73, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at his residence. 

Mr. McElwaney was born on January 21, 1944 in Griffin, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Weyman and Era McElwaney. He was owner-operator of Butch’s Auto Parts.  

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patsy McElwaney; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Brad Banks; grandchildren and their spouses, Nicholas and Kimberly Sims, Jason and Jessica Henderson; great grandchildren, Lexie Henderson, Hunter Henderson; brother, Johnny McElwaney. 

A visitation for Mr. McElwaney will be on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Dr. Dave Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
