Bobbie Jean Gaddy, age 82 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 29 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.
Bobbie Jean Gaddy born on March 30, 1935 in Hampton. She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny C. Gaddy; parents John Newkirk and Jewell Britt Newkirk.
She is survived by her son Charles (Janice) Gaddy of Griffin; daughters Rhonda (Emory) Hicks of St. Simons Island, GA and Bridgette Gaddy of Griffin; grandchildren Turner Hicks of Alexandria, VA, Patrick (Danielle) Hicks of San Diego, CA. and Caroline Dukes of St. Simons Island; great-grandchild Wilder Dukes; brother Jack (Rebecca) Butler of Griffin.
A visitation for Bobbie Jean Gaddy will be Friday, December 1, 2017 from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 3:30 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Moon will be officiating. Interment will follow in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery in Griffin. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Midway UMC Church Cemetery Association, 76 South Walkers Mill Road, Griffin, GA 30223
