Mrs. Brenda Ann Lawson, age 65 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Lawson was born March 22, 1952. She is preceded in death by parents, Billy Hawkins and Delores Myers Hawkins; sister, Sandra LaWallen. Mrs. Lawson was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by children, Billy Hawkins and Daniel Lawson and wife, Ashley Pruitt; grandchildren, Andie Hawkins, Joseph Lawson, Donovan Thompson and Daniel Thompson; great-grandchildren, Naomi Hart and Brantley Carter; brother and sister, Marcia Penland and husband, Ronnie and Kenny Hawkins and wife, Peggie; nieces and nephews, Leighann Penland, Taylor LaWallen, Donnie Penland, Trey LaWallen, Mandie Duttry and Kenny Hawkins, Jr..

Visitation for Mrs. Brenda A. Lawson will be on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted following the visitation at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westwood Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Conner-Westbury Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
