I was talking with a horse buddy of mine today and we were both sharing memories about horses and different horse people that we know and have known and we both started talking about David Barnett. I knew David a long time ago and would ride horses for him from time to time the horse I rode most often was named ebony he was a Walking Horse Stallion and I showed him a few times for David and had a great time. David was working at Bar M Stables and we were friends. Unfortunately throughout the years we lost touch but I've always had fond memories of David and ebony and today I decided when talking with my friend I would look David up give him a call and see if he remembered me. When I looked him up on the internet I came across this memorial page and it saddened me to realize that he was gone but he is not forgotten and I just wanted to say that David touched a lot of people's lives throughout his years with his horses and people still think of him fondly and remember him kindly. I wish I could have called David today and reminisced about our passing in these years but unfortunately all I'm able to do is leave my condolences to him and to his family and just say thank you David for being my friend may you rest in peace and may your family be blessed thank you.

I worked with Uncle David for many years at Carey Paul Ford and Nalley Honda. We all loved him very much. We all loved being around him and his family.

I have been thinking of him often lately. Thinking about how we talked about music and how much fun it was to be around him. He will sure be missed.

I knew David most of my life. We lived up the road from him and his parents on Stonewall Tell Road. He always made people laugh, was very talented and was just a good person. He will be missed!

Sending my deepest condolences to your family. May you find comfort in the bible’s promise of a future resurrection at Luke 23:43 and Acts 24:15 when you will be reunited with your loved one. But until then, may she sleep in peace (John 11:11-14).

I will miss you my friend. You always made me laugh. And I loved how you sing your songs and played the banjo. You are in a better place.
Love
