Mr. Donald F. Brady, age 72 of Gay, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin.

Mr. Brady was born in Atlanta on August 22, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hardy Benson Brady and Edna Lee West Brady; sister Mary Ruth Brady and brother Benson Brady. Mr. Brady was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had worked in the maintenance department for the Georgia Department of Corrections.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda C. Brady; son Donald F. Brady, Jr.; daughter Misty Hope (Donald) Shirah; grandchildren Emilie (Jordan) Cubino, Katie Brady, Kimberlie Brady, Robbie Brady, Krista Long, Tyler Long, Jessica Shirah, D.J. Shirah and Jacob Shirah; great-grandchildren Evelyn Grace, Kalem Hicks and Joshua Cofield; sisters Dorothy Knight, Carolyn (Grady) Stockton and Sylvia (Wesley) Mosel; brothers Larry Brady and Bruce (Debbie) Brady; several in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation for Mr. Donald F. Brady will be on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a memorial service will be conducted at 12 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Keith Ford will officiate.
