Mrs. Helen H. Maddox, age 83 of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Mrs. Helen Maddox was born in Griffin, Georgia on March 18, 1934. She is preceded in death by her parents, John A. Hall and Ester Chambers Hall; husband, Joseph Maddox; daughter, Tonia Belvin. Mrs. Maddox retired from Spalding County School System.

She is survived by her son, Kim R. Belvin; Grandchildren, Adam E. Belvin and Kent D. Belvin; great grandchildren, Erik Belvin, Elton Belvin and Pierce Belvin; brothers, Harvey Hall and Aaron Hall; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Helen Maddox will be on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Internment will follow at County Line United Methodist Church Cemetery.
