Mrs. Martha Faye Fox Wilson, age 79, of Griffin passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Griffin, Georgia on October 24, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Clay Fox and Kitty Estelle English Fox; husband Donnie Wilson who passed away in 2008; brother, Tommy Fox and wife, Emily; sisters, Catherine Fox, Nell Joiner and husband, Edwin, Doris McLean and husband, Melvin, Jean Hubbard and husband, Butch; brothers-in-law, Jack Jones, Jim Gore; sister in law, Carolyn Wilson Spies; mother and father in law, Thelma and Melvin Wilson. Mrs. Wilson was retired from the Griffin-Spalding County Hospital as the Executive Director’s Secretary. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where she was a member of the K.I.T. Club and the Emmaus Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Wendy Wilson; grandson, Hayden Wilson; step grandsons, Chase Brown & Claudia, Gabe Brown; step great grandchild, Ryan Wayde Brown; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Wilson Jones, Elaine Wilson Gore; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Mrs. Faye Fox Wilson will be on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Mark Sellers and Reverend Gene Luke will officiate.
