Frances Douglas Knoff, age 95, of Griffin, GA passed away on February 1, 2018. A daughter, Frances Cordelia Douglas, was born to Joseph Smith and Frances Jodie Wood Douglas on September 18, 1922. She was the only daughter, first child and last living sibling. All three of her brothers, Robert Joseph (Bobby) Douglas, John Millard Douglas and William Lamar Douglas, are deceased. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Frank Knoff, November 24, 1971, and her only daughter, Jodie Karen Knoff, July 1, 1968; both of whom are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Griffin.

Frances was born in Griffin, is a long-time resident, and before her retirement was the owner of the Douglas Flower Shop. She joined the First Christian Church in Griffin when she was 11 years old and continued to be an active member.

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Frances Knoff will be on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a celebration of Frances’ life will be held in Chapel of Conner-Westbury. Reverend Tom Van Laningham of the First Christian Church will officiate.
