Mr. Glenn A. Phillips, age 79, of Griffin passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Brightmoor Nursing Home.

Mr. Phillips was born in Griffin, Georgia on July 9, 1937. He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Phillips, parents, Luther George Phillips and Lovenia Turner Phillips. He retired from Delta Air Lines as a mechanic. Mr. Phillips was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah and husband Jeff Howard of Griffin, Ga; sons, Tim and wife Kristy Phillips of Milner, Ga., Ted and wife Leigh Phillips of Forsyth, Ga.; grandchildren, Ashley and her husband Larry Payton, Kyle Phillips, Haylee Phillips, Taylor Blevins, T.J. Phillips, Cassy Phillips; great grandchildren, Tristan Payton; sister Janice and husband Larry Johnson; several nieces and nephews.


A visitation for Glenn A. Phillips will be on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral. Pastor Benny Tate will officiate.
