Mrs. Helen Louise Jones, age 73, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

Mrs. Jones was born in Rex, Georgia on June 6, 1944. She is preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Mary Lunsford Stroud. She is a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Revered Dan Jones; children, Dana Woods, Danny Jones, Barbie Barnes, Krystel Donnell; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Loggins, Betty Jones and Jean Howard; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Helen Louise Jones will be Friday, February 16, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4477 Fayetteville Hwy, Griffin, GA. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayetteville, GA. Mrs. Jones will lie in state at the church from 11:30 am until the hour of service.
