Homer H. Shellnutt

Mr. Homer H. Shellnutt, age 85, of Awendaw, South Carolina formerly of Griffin, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024.

Mr. Shellnutt was born in Columbus, Georgia on March 3, 1938. His parents, Homer H. Shellnutt, Sr. and Elizabeth Lewis Shellnutt, wife Tiffany K. Shellnutt all preceded him in death. He was a retired teacher, coach and businessman and member of Griffin First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include five children; Charles Shellnutt and wife Kim, Michael Shellnutt and wife Nancy, Timothy Shellnutt and spouse Claudia, and Richard Shellnutt and wife Tonya, daughter, Mary Sargent; sisters, Carolyn and Gail; brother, Richard; fifteen grandchildren; and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be Monday, April 29, 2024 11:00 am at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
