Mrs. Jackie “Becky” Ward McClain, age 69 of Griffin passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 3, 2017. She was born In Thomaston, Georgia on August 2, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Jack Ward and Laura Ferguson Ward. Becky was a bus monitor for the Spalding County School system, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and loved going to the beach.

Becky is survived by her two children, Scott McClain and wife Nancy Mangham McClain, Christy Buchanan and husband David; grandchildren, Cameron McClain Daniell and wife Jamie, Lance Daniell, Ashley Pair and husband Andrew, Abby Harker, Matthew McClain; great grandson, Cason Pair; brother, Bobby Ward; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Becky Ward McClain will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home with Reverend Mark Ward officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family after the service at 1574 Buffington Way, Griffin, GA 30224.
