Mrs. Jane Crowder Jackson, age 80, of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Spalding County, Georgia on April 14, 1936. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Willie C. Jackson; parents, Hugh E. Crowder and Mary Wood Crowder; special cousins, John W. Crowder, Mary King, and Harold Crowder. Mrs. Jackson attended North Griffin Congregational Holiness Church.

She is survived by her children; Andrea Jordan of Louisiana, Cheryl Raburn and husband David of Tifton, Georgia, Mark Jackson of Griffin and special cousin Al Crowder of Griffin.

The family would like to express special thanks to Dr. Keith Huckaby, the staff at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia, and the staff at Roosevelt Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warm Springs, Georgia.

Visitation for Mrs. Jane Crowder Jackson will be on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Gene Luke and Reverend Tommy Powell will officiate. Interment will follow in Williamson UMC cemetery.
