Mr. Jerry Edward Wingate age 52, of Griffin, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Mr. Wingate was born in East Point, Georgia on August 13, 1964. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Eugene Wingate. Jerry was self-employed as a carpenter and AP Mechanic.

He is survived by his mother, Annette Wingate; brother and his wife Rick Wingate and Mechelle Wingate and their children.

A small memorial service will be conducted for family and friends on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity, 150 Pine Rd., Newnan, Georgia 30263.
