Mr. Jimmy B. Pritchett, age 75 of Griffin, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Pritchett was born in Carrollton, Georgia on May 24, 1942. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Pritchett, Mary Thompson Wyatt; sister-in-law, Joanne Scroggins. Mr. Pritchett was instrumental in helping to start the Marine Corps League in Griffin. He was a member of Griffin First Assembly for over 50 years, where he attended the Adult Bible Class. Jimmy loved trains and was a member of the Georgia Railroad Society.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra E. Pritchett; sons, Darrin Pritchett, Jason Pritchett; grandchildren, Jesse Pritchett, Katie Pritchett; sisters-in-laws, Betty Elliott, Peggy Bearden and husband, Duane, Mary Jane Setzer and her friend, Franklin Martin; brother-in-law, Desmer Scroggins; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation for Jimmy Pritchett will be Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Oak Hill Cemetery. Dr. Randy Valimont and Pastor Mike Freeman will officiate. The Marine Corps League will provide military honors.
