Mrs. JoAnn Henry Rivers, age 72 of Griffin, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

Mrs. Rivers was born in Meriwether County, Georgia on August 16, 1945. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Allene Henry, husband Vyrlon Rivers. Mrs. Rivers retired from J.C.Pennney and was a member of Landmark Church Of God.

Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Donna A. Rivers; daughter, Candace Rivers; step son and daughters-in-law, Farron and Kathleen Rivers, Edward and Tammy Rivers, Marcus Rivers; sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Gary Blackmon; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Loretta Henry; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. JoAnn Rivers will be Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will conducted on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Rebecca Brannon will officiate. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens
