Mrs. Karen L. Chappell, age 60 of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017 at Sylvan Grove Hospital in Jackson.

Mrs. Chappell was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 25, 1957. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick Lange and Betty Chamblee Lange.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry S. Chappell; daughter Karen “Peaches” Chappell and Paul Woodruff; grandchildren, Hunter Collins and Bryson Collins; brother Steve Lange; sister’s Connie Kelley and Rita Hensley; her beloved pet, Precious.

Mrs. Chappell’s request was to be cremated, no services are planned at this time.

Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 West McIntosh Road, Griffin, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
