Katherine Joanne Cook Green, age 63 of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Mrs. Green was born on December 26, 1960 in Griffin, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton Eddie Cook and Joanne Stewart Cook and her brothers, Eddie Cook and Jay Cook. Katherine loved everybody. She would give everything she had to help anyone in need. Kathy loved music and her fur babies. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Jimmy Green; children, Melissa Martin, Elizabeth Keenum (Brandon), Ashleigh Turner (Scott); grandchildren, Caid Freeman, Jaycob Freeman, Ethan Nichols, Sydney Keenum, Eli Keenum, Luke Turner, Joshua Turner; brothers, Jeffrey Cook (Bonnie), Michael Cook (Angie); sisters, Heather Pruett (Stacey), Jennifer Edwards; sister-in-law, Lynn Cook;  many nieces and nephews; and all of her friends whom she considered family.

Visitation for Mrs. Katherine Joanne Cook Green will be Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society. Matt Owens will officiate.
