Mrs. Linda Ford Bevil, age 72, of Griffin, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at her residence.

Mrs. Bevil was born in Marietta, Georgia on April 10, 1944. She is preceded by her parents, Reverend Arnold Ford and Doris Ford Hardy. Mrs. Bevil formerly worked at RESA and Griffin Spalding County School System. She was a member of Griffin First Assembly, former pianist, choir member, never met a stranger, loved traveling.

She is survived by husband, James (Buddy) Bevil; children, Brian Ford and wife, Cheryl, Reverend Keith Ford and wife, Bridgett, Melicia Kirby; step children, Sandra Rawlings and husband Randy, Dana Zillweger; 11 grandchildren, sisters, Dollie Mooney, Patsy Taylor; brother, Arnold Ford; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Linda Bevil will be on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at Griffin First Assembly. Dr. Randy Valimont will officiate. Interment will follow in Milner Baptist Church.
