Mrs. Mary Frances Hammonds Harris, age 86 of Griffin, Georgia passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at WellStar Spalding Hospital.

Mrs. Harris was born in Griffin, Georgia on January 11, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Mary Byrd Hammonds, husband, Tommy Gene Harris, son, Charles Greer. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and retired from Holiday Inn.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Greer, Timothy Harris, Michael Hammonds and Leslie Hammonds; grandson, Anthony Greer; sister, Louvenia Ross; sisters-in-law, Catherine Williams, Sal Johnson; friend, Kristy McDowell; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Mary Frances Harris will be on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 1:00pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.
