Mrs. Maxine Martin Bunn, age 79, of Griffin passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

Maxine was born in Spalding County, Georgia on February 7, 1938. She is preceded in death by parents, George Rush Lewis and Madell Gordy Lewis; her husband, Donald Bunn. Maxine was a retired hairdresser, a member of Highland United Methodist Church, where she was a church pianist and active in UMW.

Survivors include, daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Mike Fowler; granddaughter, Taylor Fowler; aunt, Imogene Imes; several cousins.

A visitation for Mrs. Maxine Martin Bunn will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Dale Fuller and Craig Gordy will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
