Millard Harold Hunter, II of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Griffin, Georgia on April 25, 1988. Hal graduated from Spalding High School in 2006. He then went to the University of West Georgia where he became president of Kappa Alpha Order. In 2011, he graduated with degrees in Accounting and Finance. Hal lived in Atlanta for the last six years working as a recruiter for Robert Half.
Hal was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church of Griffin and was an Eagle Scout. He had a keen interest in sports and music as well as an uncanny ability to make us laugh and smile. Hal was loved and will be missed by many.
Hal was preceded in death by his father, Richard M. Hunter, and his grandparents, Wilbur and Ruth May Whitlock, and Harold and Lola Crowder Hunter. He is survived by his mother, Mary Ellen Collier; his brother, Richard Whitlock Hunter; his sister, Lauren Hunter Cramer; and his niece, Sara Elizabeth Cramer.
A funeral service will be held for Millard Harold Hunter, II on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. George's Episcopal Church of Griffin, with visitation at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Hal's memory to St. George's Episcopal School, 103 Birch Street, Milner, GA 30257 or St. George's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, 132 North 10th Street, Griffin, GA 30223.
