Mr. Milton H. Cox, Jr., age 79, of Sunnyside, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Eternal Hope Hospice.

Mr. Cox was born in Pike County, Georgia on September 5, 1937. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milton, Sr. and Maggie Cox; his wife Edna Cox; son, Tony Cox; sisters, Lucille Chambers and Annie Mae Hardy; brother, John Henry Cox. He was a member of West Sunny Side Community Church, and retired from Glass Systems, Inc. Mr. Cox was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by sons, Timothy Cox, Wayne Cox and his wife Melony Pass; grandson, Darrell and Cameron Cox; brothers, Emmett Cox and wife, Gertrude, Jimmy Cox and wife Jackie; sister, Jean Middlebrooks and husband L.Z.; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Milton Cox will be held on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Conner-Westbury. Bro. Billy Anderson will officiate.
