Mr. Ralph Clyde Jones, age 79 of Barnesville, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017at Brightmoor hospice.

Mr. Jones was born on September 10, 1937. He is preceded in death by his parents Cecil Leroy Jones and Elizabeth Alda Harding; brother William Charles Jones; sister, Dorothy Ann Jones; grandson Beau Gasaway. Mr. Jones retired as an Engineer with Detroit Diesel.

Survivors include his wife Annette Jones of Barnesville, GA; daughters Diana Hester and husband Lee of Griffin, Dawn Collier and husband Mark of Talbott, TN., and Kelly Gasaway and husband Wayne of Griffin; step-sons Scott Stephens and wife Stephanie of Burlington, NC., Joshua Ray Stephens and wife Mary of Atlanta and Seth Stephens and wife Meenakshi of Ft. Collins, CO.; grandchildren Rachel Colwell of East Dublin, GA., Carley Entrekin of Griffin, Morgan Winstead and husband Mike of Griffin, Logan Caddell of Talbett, TN. And Wayne Gasaway Jr. of Griffin, Kyle, Joel and Kadey Gasaway of Griffin, Andrew Stephens of Boone, NC., Augustus Ray Stephens of Atlanta, Anna Kate Stephens of Burlington, NC., and Rennie Stephens of Atlanta; great grandchildren Tyler Colwell of Hampton and Taylor Colwell of East Dublin, GA.

There will be a memorial service for Mr. Jones announced at a later date.
