Mr. Raymond “Rabbit” Murray Taylor, age 73 of Milner, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017.

Mr. Taylor was born in Milner, Georgia on November 29, 1943. He is preceded in death by parents, John Willie Taylor and Rosa Neely Taylor. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved farming as well. Mr. Taylor was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and was retired from The William Carter Company.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jewel Smith Taylor; children, Liz Thomason and husband J.T., Pam Edge and husband Artie, Robert Taylor and wife Nikki; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Ralph Taylor; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Raymond Taylor will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Milner, Georgia. Mr. Taylor will lie in state at the church from 12:30 pm until the hour of service. Pastor Lawrence Burge will officiate. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Community Church Cemetery in Milner, Georgia.
