Mr. Ronald Wayne Hughey, age 55, of Hampton, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017.

Mr. Hughey was born in Atlanta, Georgia on March 28, 1962. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Billy Hughey and Patricia Joann Odom and brother, Ray Cloud. Mr. Hughey was employed for 28 years with Bennett Motor Express. Additionally, Mr. Hughey was the scheduling director for Umpires for the South Metro Umpires. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Hughey of Hampton, Georgia; daughter, Jasmine Hughey of Hampton, Georgia; son, Josh Hughey and wife Jenna of Covington, Georgia; grandchild, Colton Hughey; brother’s, Tony Hughey and wife Susan of Concord, Georgia and Russell Hughey and wife Sandra of Charleston, South Carolina.

A visitation for Ronald Wayne Hughey will be on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Pastor Chris Magness will officiate.
