This is Dewitt Altman I worked with skillet when I first started with bell south
in 1963 he was always a good friend to me! We became very close friends
even in Church and was always happy to talk or advise me.I will miss him
weeks before he passed I had him on my mind but I waited to long to call him!!

I remember Mr. Kilgore fondly, how he always took such care of Mrs. Kilgore. He was a sweet man.

Our sympathies to the family. My dad, Weyman (Dude) Pitts, spoke fondly of his dear friend Skillett with whom he had worked at Southern Bell for many years.

Skillet has been a great friend to me for many years. We worked together at Bellsouth and have remained friends since retirement. He got me in the "breakfast club" that meets every month; it won't be the same. He was also there for my husband who was critically ill with cancer last year. He was a dear and special person and I will surely miss him. Condolences to the loving family whom he spoke of very often.

To the family
I was sorry to read of your loss. Death is difficult to endure regardless of our age, however we can find comfort from God's word the Bible. It tells us that soon all those in the memorial tomb will come out by means of a resurrection.(John 5:28, 29). Until then, may you continue to keep his memory warm in your hearts until you see Stewart happy and healthy again one day.

Skillet was a wonderful person whom I had the pleasure of knowing for many, many years while he worked with my mother at Southern Bell (now AT&T). Prayers for the family

Mother & I are deeply saddened at Stewart's passing--we have lost a dear, long-time friend & neighbor--but we rejoice knowing that he is no longer suffering & has been reunited with those who have gone on before him--I can only imagine the reunion in Heaven this morning, and am certain that my Daddy was there to welcome his "Best Bud." We offer our deepest condolences to all who mourn his passing--we grieve with you & pray that our Heavenly Father will wrap His loving arms around all & give comfort & peace as only He can do. R.I.P., Old Friend--Rest in Peace & Rejoice in Paradise. We were all blessed to have you in our lives--you will never be forgotten.
