Susan Frances Murrow Polk, age 60, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

Susan was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 18, 1957. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Hunter Murrow and Nellie Marie Pittman Murrow. She formerly worked at General Motors. She was an avid Atlanta Falcon’s Fan and Georgia Tech.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Polk; children, April Trosper and husband, Chris, Andy Henderson, Tommy Polk, Jr, James Scott Smith; grandchildren, Caleb Hannons, Matthew Norton, Logan Trosper, Hatden Sidney, Ramon Sidney, Celandria Sidney, Eric Ferguson, Nathan Henderson, Audrey Henderson; sisters, Sharon Ludvigson, Cindy Dove; brother, David Murrow; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Susan Polk will be Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2:30 am until 4:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation a funeral service will held in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home.
