Mr. Thomas Felix “Tom” Fendley, age 80, of Fayetteville passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Piedmont Fayette Community Hospital.

Mr. Fendley was born in Denver, Colorado on July 17, 1936. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry C. and Sarah Elizabeth Davidson Fendley. He retired from AT&T. Mr. Fendley was a former National Guardsman, a former scoutmaster, a Georgia Military College Alumni and a member of the Vaughn United Methodist Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Reverend Sandra P. Fendley; son, Gregory Clark Fendley and Jennifer C. Fendley; daughter, Joanna Maree’ Britt and Scott Britt; daughter, Jennifer B. Fendley; grandchildren, Cori Anne Harms, Ryan Gregory Fendley, Sarah Elizabeth Bragg; sister, Catherine Elizabeth Carter; several nieces, nephews.

A visitation for Thomas F. Fendley will be on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Vaughn United Methodist Church. Following the visitation a memorial service will be conducted in the sanctuary. Reverend Michael Johns and Dr. Richard Winn will officiate.
