Mr. Thomas W. Morris, age 80, of Griffin passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Emory Midtown.

Mr. Morris was born in Irwinville, Georgia on February 17, 1937. He is preceded in death by parents, Earl W. and Rosie Lee Day Morris; his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Morris; son, Tommy Morris.

Mr. Morris was retired from The Coca-Cola Company, is former owner of Tom’s Lawnmower Repair and the Nut House in Orchard Hill. He is a member of Plainview Baptist Church.

He is survived by; son, Tony Morris and wife, Robin; daughter, Tami McPherson and husband, David; grandchildren, Luke McPherson and Logan McPherson; several nieces and nephews; pet companion, Buckeye.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Rock Springs Church Family for all of their loving care and support.

A visitation for Mr. Thomas Morris will be on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
