Mr. Troy David Powell, age 44, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2013.

Mr. Powell was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 26, 1968. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Lee Powell and Myrtle Louise Gann. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Mr. Powell is survived by sisters, Patti Thompson, Diane Thompson, Peggy Tawwater, Darlene Hayes, Kathy Mullins, Christine Clark; brother, Jimmy Powell; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Troy Powell will be on Friday, November 1, 2013 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral, Griffin. Following the visitation a service will be conducted, followed by military honors.
