Mr. William Troy Barnes, age 70 of Williamson, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Brightmoor Hospice.

Mr. Barnes was born in Chamblee, Georgia on March 12, 1947. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Claude Barnes and Susie Weathers Barnes; brothers, Benelle Barnes, Jimmy Barnes; sisters, Margie Barnes, Wynelle Fowler; niece, Lisa Hardigree. Mr. Barnes was a Master carpenter, enjoyed woodworking, loved to fish and loved watching wrestling.

Survivors include, his son, William Paul Barnes; sister, Rubynelle and Jerry Thompson; grandchildren, Zachary Barnes, Tessa Danielle Barnes; great grandchild, Dylan Barnes; nephews, Kenneth Barnes, Jeff Robinson, Daniel Thompson, Don Thompson, Mickey Thompson, David Thompson; nieces, Tammy Brewer, Jennifer Hammond.

A visitation will be on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Conner Westbury Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 2:00pm at Alvaton Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Alvaton Baptist Church Cemetery.
