Mr. William Meredith Paschal, age 72, of Griffin passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital.

Meredith was born on October 9, 1944 in Carrollton, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Paschal and Reba Crawford Paschal. Meredith was a veteran of the United States Army, he retired from NEC, he was a member of West Sunnyside Community Church and was an Ordained Minister of the Congregational Holiness Church. He loved college football and the Atlanta Braves, enjoyed crossword puzzles, spending time with his family and loved his fur baby Espresso.

Mr. Paschal is survived by his wife of 47 years, Faye Bryant Paschal; daughter, Amy Paschal; brothers, Stanley Paschal and Vickie, Mark Paschal and Connie, Joel Paschal and Michele; sister in laws, Beverly and James Slaughter, Rosie Bryant Lewis and Betty Bryant; grand godchildren, Chase Brown and Gabe Brown; great grand godson, Ryan-Wayde Brown; several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. William Meredith Paschal will be on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm at West Sunnyside Community Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
