Mrs. Jewell Imogene Cochran Bostwick, age 90, of Griffin passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Christian Ministries Hospice.
Mrs. Bostwick was born in Jackson, Georgia to the late Thomas Henley Cochran and the late Nannie Belle Bishop Cochran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick “Bud” Bostwick; son, Gene Harper; daughter, Ann Lyon; brothers, Russell Cochran and Walter Cochran; sisters, Lucille Mask and Ocie Cornwell. She loved to work with her flowers.
Mrs. Bostwick is survived by her daughter, Josephine Ingram; sons and daughters-in-law, Freddy and Linda Bostwick, Kenneth and Darlene Bostwick, and Larry Bostwick; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Jewell Bostwick will be conducted on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bostwick Family Cemetery on Smoak Road. Reverend Riley Fenley and Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
