Mrs. Funderburk was born in Griffin, Georgia on August 3, 1959 to late Bobby Steve Phillips and the late Ruby Inez McCracken Dunn. She was employed with Auto Finance. Mrs. Funderburk was a member of First Assembly of God. Mrs. Funderburk is survived by her husband, James H. Funderburk, Jr.; children and their spouses, Joshua Cain and Erin Phillips, David William Edmonds and Tiffany Black, James H. III, and Dana Funderburk, Robert Floyd Funderburk, April Lynn Funderburk; 10 grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan Collins, Sue and John Fischer, Linda and Roy Daniels; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Peggy Ballard, Barry and Jann Phillips, Mike Phillips; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Lynn Funderburk will be conducted on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Rock Springs Church. Dr. Benny Tate will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Funderburk will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
