Mr. Kennedy was born in Griffin, Georgia on November 8, 1942. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. Mr. Kennedy was a member of the Vaughn United Methodist Church. Mr. Kennedy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Susan Bailey Kennedy; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian S. and LuAnn S. Kennedy, Kevin M. Kennedy; grandchildren, Nina B. Kennedy, Joshua S. Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Kidd, Anika Shyanne Odom; mother, Helen Kennedy Norton. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Kennedy will be conducted on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Sandra Fendley and Mr. Joshua Kennedy will officiate. Interment will follow in the old section of Oak Hill Cemetery.
