Name: Jane Milner Date: May 28th, 1924 - July 16th, 2010 Obituary: Mrs. Dorothy Jane Vining Milner, age 86, of Griffin, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010. Mrs. Milner was born on May 28, 1924 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Alva Nathaniel Vining and the late Mary Alice Bock Vining. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Pyron Milner; daughter, Beverly Milner Potts; son, Dudley Barry Milner. Mrs. Milner retired from First Union Bank, and actively volunteered with the Hospital Auxiliary. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Griffin. Mrs. Milner is survived by grandchildren, Allison and Benjamin Clark of Austin, TX, Emily and Troy Smith of Savannah, GA, Mark Milner of Elberton, GA; great-grandchildren, Nathan Clark and Olivia Clark, both of Austin, TX; sisters, Charlotte Sanders of Camden, SC, Betty Duncan of Milledgeville, GA; sister-in-law, Patricia Vining of Fayetteville, GA; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Jane Milner will be conducted on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. Reverend Tim Dalstrom will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Hospital Auxiliary is asked to sit together as a group at the service.
