Mrs. Kilgo was born in Fayette County on February 28, 1929 to the late Charlie Moses Nichols and the late Annie Lois Johnson Parham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Kilgo, son, Harley Glenn Kilgo, brother, Johnny Nichols and beloved niece, Judy DeFoor Lewis. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Roy and Susan Kilgo of Griffin, Bartow and Jennifer Kilgo of MN.; daughters and son-in-law, Peggy Allison Brooks of Piedmont, AL, Sarah Knight of Barnesville, Faye Kilgo of Griffin, Donna and Earl Hopper of Barnesville; daughter-in-law, Diane Kilgo of Cairo, GA; sister, Elizabeth DeFoor of Milner; brother and sister-in-law, Garland and Evelyn Nichols of Milner; 23 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Nichols Kilgo will be conducted on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Jesse Wilkes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Griffin Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 6-9pm at the funeral home. The Family is asked to meet at 12:30 on Saturday at the Family Center at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home for the family meal.
