Mrs. Barnett was also known to two younger generations as “Mither”. She was born in Boston, MA on August 17, 1912. During her lifetime she lived in New York, her beloved Florida, and then moved to Griffin to be close to her daughter and son-in-law. Mrs. Barnett is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and AR Brown; grandson and spouse, Drew and Stacy Brown; granddaughter and spouse, Kelly and David Imes; great grandchildren, Josie Brown and Parker Imes; and special family friends, Michael and Jill Sanders; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Marguerite “Rita” Barnett wishes were to be cremated. There will be a private Memorial Service at a later date. Cemetery: Cremation , (map/driving directions)
