Preston, age 76 of Griffin passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his residence Mr. Preston was born in Griffin, Georgia on June 13, 1934 to the late William Fred Preston and the late Ruby Inez Thomas Preston. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Mary Frances Folds Preston, Daughter, Barbara Chambley and Brenda Farmer. Mr. Preston retired from Dundee Mills Plant #1. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Eugene (Buck) and Shannon Preston of Griffin; grandchildren, Michael Chambley, Bobby Chambley, Randy Chambley, Nick Preston, Edward Farmer, Jr., Michelle Wilson, Chris Farmer; 15 Great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Bobby E. Preston will be conducted on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 2pm in the chapel of the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
