Survivors include his daughter, Lila Marie Dowdy; parents, Roy and Elaine Dowdy; Brother and sister-in-law, Travis and Melissa Dowdy; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jimmy McElroy; nephews, Preston Dowdy, Nathan Dowdy, Kaleb Elliott, Elan Elliott, Austin Elliott, Wess and Josh McElroy; niece, Elizabeth Elliott. Funeral services for Mr. Ronald Dowdy will be conducted on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Dr. Craig Bowers will officiate.
