Mr. Dingler was born in Brooks, Georgia on Monday, July 25, 1927 to the late Grover Cleveland Dingler and the late Maude Leigh Kierbow Dingler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Biles Dingler; sisters, Hazel Hubbard, and Ann Lou Dingler. Mr. Dingler was retired from Dundee Mills – Lowell Bleachery. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Dingler was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mr. Dingler is survived by his daughter, Angie Dingler Daniel; son, Randy Dingler; grandson, Billy Palmer; great-grandchildren, Marissa Palmer, and Cadence Palmer; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Billy C. Dingler will be conducted on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Charles Johnson and Reverend Kenneth Whitlock will officiate. Interment will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
