Mrs. Williamson was born in Coweta County, Georgia on April 29, 1930 to the late Ted Jones and the late Irene Beckham Jones. Mrs. Williamson is preceded in death husband, Hoty Williamson, daughter, Vicky Lynn Williamson, sons Robert Williamson and Tony Williamson. She was retired from the Spalding Hosiery Shop a member of the First Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Williamson is survived daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Danny Kitchens of Griffin, and Diane and J. E. Pledger of Hampton; son, Larry Williamson of Griffin; 12 grandchildren, Tonya Ogletree, Ashley Duffey, Rodney Williamson, Brandon Williamson, Olivia Williamson, Savannah Pledger, Dylan Pledger, Jamie Lynn Gossett, Lindsey and Michael Peaden(twins), Robert and Nicholas Peaden twins; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Short, Martha Ogletree; brothers, Leroy Jones, Robert Jones, Edward Jones; special niece, Capri Barnette; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret J. Williamson will be conducted on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 noon in the Chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Reverend Glenn Hemrick and Reverend Greg Marsh will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
